- Denture Repairs: A damaged set of dentures doesdn't mean a whole new pair. At Denture Art we are able to repair a fractured, or cracked denture. Not only that but also replacing a broken or chipped artificial tooth.
Denture repairs can be done while waiting and enjoying a cup of coffee with us. - Polish and Clean: At Denture Art we are able to clean and polish your dentures and restore its shine and lustre, this includes removing bad stains, and plaque build up which can be caused by some types of food or drinks, as well as smoking stains. This will bring out your old set looking like brand new.
- Denture Relines and teeth addition: If your dentures are getting loose then it's time you get a reline. Loose dentures can cause fracturing to the pink acrylic part of the denture due to the unstability and lack of support. An ill fitting set can be a headache. We usually recommend our patients to get a reline every two years due to the nature of the gum and shrinkage that occurs with time. Relines and teeth addition to exisitng plate can be done on the same day, but make sure you make a booking prior.

Implant Dentures: Implant overdentures are considered the best solution to an ill fitting loose denture. Patients with flat or resorbed gingiva or gums can find it difficult to function with dentures at times due to the mobility of the dentures during function. A big number of denture wearers suffer from ill fitting dentures especially a loose lower denture. This mainly due to the nature and structure of the jaw bone, as well as the lack of surface area on the bottom jaw together and tongue interference. As you wear the denture with time, the vertical forces applied from the dentures to the bone can be destructive which can cause shrinkage to the bone especially the lower ridge, which can resorbs nearly four times faster than the upper, thus causing the lower denture to be loose even though you might have done a reline recently. In order to fix such problem, implants can be placed on the tissue if there is enough healthy bone for the denture to be clipped or connected to, therefore providing extra support, stability, comfort and better chewing effeiency and biting force. This can also reduce bone shrinkage and resorbtion, hence it can be considered as the best denture treatment in some cases.
